My name is Abhishek K Modi, though most people call me Modi - it’s just shorter :)

I’m a Software Engineer and I’m currently working on Notion’s new AI features. I recently built Q&A for content in Notion. And now retrieval over connected apps.

Prior to this, I started Notion’s Data infra team. And before Notion, I worked at Uber on the Apache Hudi team and on the Spark team.

When I’m not working I enjoy discussing global politics and I try to read The Economist cover-to-cover each week. I also love photography, climbing, and anime!
